ORGANIC TEA TREE
A true Australian speciality, it has been used by Aboriginal people for hundreds of years and its effects are recognised by medical science. It is named after Captain James Cook, who noticed that the Australian Aborigines made a tea-like brew from the leaves of the plant, and so began to call it 'tea tree'. It has remarkable antiseptic properties. During World War II, Australian soldiers used it to treat wounds and athlete's foot.
