If oily, impure skin is also present on other parts of the body: Acne Control black charcoal soap is the solution for washing.
A common mistake many people with acne make is to over-wash their face or use face washes containing aggressive cleansers. These actually have the opposite effect, because although they remove excess sebum, they effectively strip away the skin's protective layer, which dries out and starts producing more sebum to re-grease itself. This leads to more blackheads and acne in the long run.
It's also important to avoid using conventional cosmetics that may contain harmful chemicals, as acne is also a fundamentally hormonal problem. So hormone-disrupting chemicals will not help you with your problem - not to mention the fact that dangerous chemicals that end up in your body can also pose health risks that are far more serious than acne.
Natural anti-inflammatory herbs such as wild rose, tea tree, chamomile, etc. can help you to alleviate the symptoms of acne. If you're not sure if you have an oily or combination skin type, fill in our free 2-minute skin type test.
